As usual we spent the summer at Fillefjell, going for hikes in all directions. By the lake close to our second home we watched the black-throated diver, we went fishing for trout in lakes and rivers, we noticed the alpine flowers with their variety of colors, forms and smells, and we just had fun. Some of the images shot during the summer are shown in the sub-galleries.
Mountain summer nights are special. To understand why you have to be there. Nothing can compete.
West of the lake Otrøvatnet a huge sub-alpine wetland is a dominating landscape element, about 4 km long. The area is dominated by a variety of wetland plants, insects (such as the fascinating dragonflies), birds and mammals. A beautiful and interesting area indeed.
